Oldenburgs Mareline of Elektia

Small but superior, this mareline has an East Frisian (Oldenburg) origin and started in 1859. Already during the thirties of the 20th century this mareline was divided, the mare Elkate by Rheinstein was sold to Netherlands and is there the foundation mare of the line 704 (fokfamilie 704). During the same time the line was growing with the mare Elfriedchen by Granit in Oldenburg, which is the part of this line of the licensed stallion Rosario.
It is remarcable that you can find with the beginning of this mareline again and again the inbred blood of Anglo Normans and Anglo Arabians. The whole line is impressed that stallions like Condor, Furioso II, Inschallah x and Zeus were used. This is the reason for the arabian type of the offspring, like Rohdiamant, Royal Diamond or our Little Star.
